Rehoboth Early Childhood Center’s Mission
Rehoboth Early Childhood Center’s Mission is to offer a warm, accepting atmosphere in which the whole child and their family can grow - emotionally, socially, creatively, intellectually, and physically.
Rehoboth Early Childhood Center offers a loving space for three and four-year-olds to learn and grow. We currently have one classroom for three-year-olds and two classrooms for four-year-olds. Family events happen every month!
Since 1903, Rehoboth has been a place where children are given the opportunity to thrive and reach their full potential in a diverse, supportive, and challenging environment. In the fall of 2009, Rehoboth Christian School expanded its Elementary School to provide for the growing need of a Pre-K. Children will participate in whole group, small group, and individualized instruction.
The PreK uses the High Scope framework which supports teaching that is developmentally appropriate for each child. The curriculum is research-based and is aligned with New Mexico standards. It emphasizes hands-on experiences and positive interactions between the teachers and children. The adults and students are active partners while learning. This approach enhances each child’s growth in the foundations of academics as well as all the other areas of learning and development.
The Rehoboth Early Childhood Center provides a quality education that develops the whole child - body, mind, and spirit. Elementary schools now expect children to enter kindergarten ready to learn. The program helps children and families with the important transition into elementary school education.
